Pamela Anderson set to marry Paris Hilton's ex

They have appeared in the two most infamous home videos of all time. And now it appears Pamela Anderson is planning to marry the man who made Paris Hilton an internet sensation.

The former Baywatch star and Rick Salomon – Paris Hilton's former boyfriend who made and distributed the infamous One Night In Paris explicit video – are planning to get married. They have applied for – and were granted – a marriage licence in Las Vegas on the weekend.

Anderson – who has been performing with magician Hans Klok at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino – and Salomon, 38, have been inseparable lately.

A source said: "Rick is always with her. He's backstage when she does her show all the time."

The pair, who headed back to Los Angeles Saturday night, have been staying at Anderson's Malibu beach house. The former Baywatch star, 40, had previously revealed on a US chat show that she was engaged but did not say who her other half was, except that he was a poker player, which is one of Salomon's pursuits.

Twice-married Salomon, 39, dated Hilton in a relationship immortalised in an infamous "night-vision" explicit home movie that also gained wide Internet exposure before it was distributed as a porn film titled "One Night in Paris."

Salomon was briefly married in 2002 to actress Shannen Doherty of the TV hit "Beverly Hills, 90210," but their union was annulled. He has two daughters with first wife Elizabeth Daily. It would be the third marriage for Anderson, who gained international stardom playing lifeguard C.J. Parker on the TV show "Baywatch."

Anderson and her first husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, with whom she appeared in a widely circulated explicit video, divorced in 1998 after three years of marriage and two children.

She and her second husband, Kid Rock, divorced last year after four months of marriage. The wedding plans were revealed as Anderson blasted ex-husband Rock over comments he had been left alone to look after her two children, Brandon, 11, and nine-year-old Dylan.

On her website, she said: 'Everyone knows I'm a great mom. He's bitter.

'It's sad to see. I don't want to battle with him. But I'd hate to point out habits I had a hard time with. They are personal to him and that's why we are not together. These are desperate attempts. I've moved on.'
